This past Shabbat, Malka Ariel, a veteran employee at Bayit Cham, passed away.
Our dear Malka worked at Bayit Cham for more than 10 years with great dedication. She was an energetic, warm, professional woman. She started her career in our vocational rehabilitation department, helping clients cope at work and, later on, directed the training and mentoring of dozens of social work students doing field work at Bayit Cham. In the past two years, she also guided families and conducted workshops at the Techelet Center in Haifa, as part of the professional team helping parents, spouses and siblings cope with family members who struggle with mental illness.
In every role she filled, she displayed love and faith in each and every person’s ability to succeed despite the challenges; she reflected the good in everyone and helped them discover their strengths.
Beloved, dear Malka, there is no doubt that you left your mark with your giving and kindness. We will miss you very much 😞.
We share in the deep sorrow of all the members of your beloved family and community.
Rest in peace.
May her memory be for a blessing.
